Welcome to our recipe page!

Cannabis has a long history of use, ranging from medicinal applications to recreational enjoyment. On this page, we share recipes that feature cannabis, from delicious dishes to innovative infusions.

Whether you're working with CBD or THC as your main focus, these recipes offer an accessible way to get started at home.

The benefits of CBD

CBD is gaining popularity as a natural support for promoting well-being. Research continues to explore how CBD can help with stress, sleep, pain, and even certain chronic conditions. By incorporating it into dishes, you can incorporate it into your daily routine in a tasty and fun way.

Are you curious and would you like to know more about the plant itself? Then first take a look at our 'hemp page' to learn more.

CBD and THC: two faces of the same plant

It is important to know that CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are two completely different substances, even though they both come from the cannabis plant.

  • THC is responsible for the psychoactive effects (the “high”) that many people associate with cannabis.
  • CBD, on the other hand, is non-psychoactive and is actually praised for its relaxing, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.

Both have their own unique benefits, and our recipes can be adapted depending on your preferences.

Decarboxylation

Get the most out of your cannabis!

For a more potent effect, you can choose to decarboxylate your hash or weed first. This process activates the cannabinoids through heat, making your final product stronger. It is not mandatory, but it can make your caramel, butter or other baked goods extra potent.

How to decarboxylate hash or weed:

  1. Preheat the oven to 100°C - 110°C.
  2. Crumble the hash or weed and spread it over a baking tray lined with baking paper (or use an oven dish covered with aluminum foil).
  3. Place in the oven and let it heat for 30 - 45 minutes .
  4. Once it is dry and crumbly, it is ready to use.

With weed, the color will darken slightly during this process. Note that with weed, you still have to sift the small pieces after cooking, while hash usually melts nicely in a mixture.
